THE MOBIL RAM SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR A VARIETY OF FOUNDATION APPLICATIONS, WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON SHEET PILING. AT ITS CORE, THE SYSTEM FEATURES A VERSATILE, SLEWING, AND FULLY INCLINABLE TELESCOPIC MAST, MOUNTED ON A SPECIALIZED CARRIER. THE LEADER MAST PROVIDES PRECISE GUIDANCE FOR A RANGE OF ATTACHMENTS AND IS AVAILABLE IN LENGTHS UP TO 26 METERS. THE MOBIL RAM LEADER MAST SUPPORTS QUICK AND SECURE ATTACHMENT CHANGES, THANKS TO THE ADVANCED RAPID DOCKING SYSTEM. COMPATIBLE ATTACHMENTS INCLUDE VIBRATORS, AUGER DRIVES, THE DOUBLE AUGER HEAD VDW SYSTEM, HYDRO PRESS, AND DELMAG DIESEL HAMMERS. SEE BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS ON AVAILABLE ATTACHMENTS.

ATTACHMENT OVERVIEW

MRZV-VV

The MRZV-VV vibrators from ABI represent the latest generation of cutting-edge technology, featuring unique patented innovations. These vibrators offer both variable static moment and variable frequency control, optimizing the piling process. With advanced electronic monitoring and software control systems, the MRZV-VV vibrators deliver significant commercial benefits to piling contractors.

Key benefits include: enhanced efficiency throughout the piling process, increased production rates, lower fuel consumption, reduced noise levels, and decreased wear on engines and hydraulic components.

Typical applications

Piling and extracting of:

• steel sheet piles

• beams

• steel elements/profiles

• casings and tubes

• full displacement piles

Further applications:

• Stone columns

• Soil compaction

• Geo textile columns

• Steel foundation piles

• Vertical-drain

HYDRO-PRESS

The Hydro-Press System is a versatile attachment for the ABI MOBILRAM System, designed to push or pull steel sheet piles without vibration and with minimal noise. This vibration-free operation makes the HPS ideal for use in sensitive areas such as hospitals, laboratories, residential neighborhoods, historic buildings, and computer facilities - essentially, anywhere vibrations need to be minimized.

Advantages:

• Low noise – the noise exposure is reduced to the noise level of the carrier.

• Efficient – three or four sheet piles can be pushed or pulled as panel in one go.

• Saving resources – after pulling the sheet piles, can be re-used again.

• Users comfort – due to the portable and easy to handle remote control

Typical application

• shoring, retaining walls

• storm water tanks

• cut-off walls

• trench shoring

DIESEL HAMMER

Delmag manufactures a range of diesel hammers, from the compact D6 (600 kg piston weight) to the powerful D200 (20,000 kg piston weight). These hammers can be mounted on ABI Mobilram and Banut piling rigs, as well as Delmag RH series drilling rigs, depending on the size of the rig and the hammer’s weight.

Delmag diesel hammers deliver high energy output, making them ideal for driving piles in tough soils and challenging environments. Known for their reliability and efficiency, Delmag hammers are a trusted choice for a wide variety of construction applications.

Applications

  • Pile Driving in Foundation Construction
  • Bridge Construction
  • Geotechnical Investigations
  • Sheet Pile Installation
  • Land Reclamation
  • Heavy Civil Engineering Projects
  • Building Foundations in High-Rise Projects
  • Environmental Remediation
  • Mining
  • Airport and Runway Construction

AUGER DRIVE MDBA

The MDBA auger drive is perfect for a wide range of drilling applications, including ground release drilling, foundation piles, and well drilling. Featuring a hollow stem that allows concrete to pass through, it is ideal for installing CFA piles as well as part and full displacement piles. Its versatility makes it a reliable choice for various drilling projects.

Applications

  • Foundation Drilling
  • Soil Sampling
  • Environmental Remediation
  • Utility Installation
  • Anchor Installation
  • Geotechnical Testing
  • Water Well Drilling
  • Borehole Drilling for Monitoring and Sensors
  • Road and Bridge Construction
  • Slope Stabilization Projects
  • Auger Boring for Landscaping

TWIN AUGER DRIVE TMBA

TMBA Multiple Auger Drives for WSM

The TMBA Auger Drives are designed for WSM (Wet Speed-Mixing), a rapid soil mixing technique that serves as an effective alternative to traditional shoring and foundation methods, such as king pile walls, steel sheet pile walls, or Jet Grouting walls.

When paired with the ABI MOBILRAM-System, the MDBA auger drive and a suitable mixing tool provide the perfect solution for WSM. These auger drives are built without a gear mechanism, avoiding common issues like noise, wear, high maintenance, and low revolutions.

Often used in combination with conventional methods, the WSM process is employed for primary piles, while secondary piles can be installed using techniques such as cast-in-situ concrete piles.

The advantages

• Vibration-free - enables working at places with high building concentration and residential areas.

• Low noise - due to the construction of the auger drive without gear box the noise is reduced to a minimum.

• Productive - the high revolutions provide above average daily performances.

• Economically - reduced costs due to low cement and aggregate consumption and to the not existing soil excavation.

• Environmentally friendly - aggregates and the soil excavation do not have to be transported to or from the building site. Contaminated soils do not have to be disposed nor treated

The soils - Preferably in soils with equal consistence and sufficient

void volume.

The typical applications

• retaining walls

• shoring

• ground consolidation/stabilization

• cut-off walls

DOUBLE AUGER HEAD VDM

The Double Auger Head System is ideal for VDW single piles, secant pile walls, and contiguous pile walls. Its unique design allows for piles to be placed right up against the borders or walls of adjacent properties, maximizing usable space for development. This feature is particularly valuable in urban areas with high property

prices, where there is a strong demand for underground parking. Secant walls created with this system are straight, smooth, and gap-free, making them perfect for use as underground walls in parking structures.

The advantages

  • Low noise - the noise emissions are reduced to those of the carrier and the concrete pump.
  • Economically - through the possibility working directly on adjacent buildings no place is lost and at the same time the installed wall serves as foundation for the new building.
  • Vibration free - vibrations are hardly present. No damaging vibrations are transferred to the neighboring or adjacent buildings.

The typical applications

  • Pile walls (contiguous, tangential or secant type)
  • Drilling with casing for pile foundations
  • Well drilling
  • Injection drilling and ground improvement
  • Part or full displacement drilling
  • Micro-piles

Soil conditions

The VDW procedure is suitable for all middle dense cohesive and non-cohesive soils.

CLAMP ASSEMBLIES

ABI manufactures a range of clamp assemblies to enable the full line of vibrators to work with a great number of pile types and sections. The clamp assembly shown here is the new Combi-Clamp unit. This is a fully adjustable twin clamp configuration on a caisson beam which permits a vibrator to work with pairs of U- and Z-section sheet piles together with a range of tubular piles sections. They can be readily adjusted at ground level with ease.
