What brought you to start your business or get into your industry? My journey into becoming a Chinese medicine practitioner is one of many twists and turns, fated experiences, and unexplainable phenomenon that inevitably led me to pursue a career in energy work and plant medicine. It all began with a degree in Environmental science, a job out West, and a hiking accident that nearly left my beloved dog, Pyzer, crippled. Reiki healing is what saved my dog and opened my eyes to a world that I could not scientifically explain but wished to understand. Soon thereafter, I fell in love with wild foods harvesting and plant medicine making. In an effort to combine my interests, and learn more about energy work and herbalism, I decided to go back to school to get my Master’s in Oriental Medicine. A divine opportunity in the Summer of 2023 led me to move to Colorado to open my practice, Point of Potential Acupuncture + Wellness in the Cherry Creek area.
P.S. Pyzer is alive and well, 13 years old, and continues to hike mountains beyond that which may seem possible for a gentleman his age.
What do you love most about what you do? For me, my favorite aspect is helping people to feel their best and being a part of that transformation process. I love connecting with my clients, listening to their stories, and implementing acupuncture to treat the individual beyond their physical reality. Being able to elevate my client’s wellness is very rewarding indeed.
How can the Chamber help you? The Chamber can benefit my practice by boosting my visibility and spreading the word that there is a new acupuncturist in town who is ready to change lives! Through the Chamber I hope to create lasting business relationships while supporting one another in our professional endeavors.
