WEEKLY WRAP UP for Friday, July 26, 2019

A message from your Chamber
You can join us at Booth Boot Camp Monday even if you haven't sent us an RSVP.  Monday night's seminar will help you get ready for the 2018 East WilCo Expo and Job Fair on Sept. 14. We are hosting two workshops one at noon and the other at at 6 p.m. both at Sirloin Stockade.
Now we need to talk about the EXPO & JOB FAIR scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.
It's a fact that people like to do business with people they know. The EAST WILCO BUSINESS EXPO AND JOB FAIR, gives you the time and the place to get in front of potential customers and tell them your story in a way that captivates them and allows you to turn them into customers.
You should plan to be there! This carnival atmosphere where people win more than $4000 in prizes is the ideal place for you to get in front of hundreds of people with your products and services.
Early birds registration is $179 for Chamber members and $221 for non-members. To take advantage of this price, registration and payment must be received by 5 p.m. Aug. 9.
"There is no other opportunity like this," Expo committee member Nancci Burgess said. "You get one-on-one time with people to ask them questions and really sell your business in an exciting and engaging atmosphere."
The event is a joint production of the Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce and the Taylor Economic Development Corporation.
Other sponsors include platinum sponsors, Sirloin Stockade and Taylor Press; gold sponsor, Baylor Scott and White and silver sponsor, the Williamson County Republican Party.   Sponsorships offer prime booth locations, extra promotion and advertising and they are still available.
Learn how to be a   sponsor or how to get in on the  early bird special that ends Aug. 9 and secure your place in this wild adventure today! You can get more information  here or by calling us at 512-352-6364.

Business of the Month
The Chamber Ambassadors named Ashley Doss and her staff at Frills on Fourth as July's Business of the Month. They were recognized for their successful efforts, collecting 450 pounds for the Moody Museum's Pounding to stock shelves at Shepherd's Heart Food Pantry. Frills led the pack of small business donations. Included in the citation was Harper Doss, Ashley's daughter, whose lemonade stand contributed money in addition to the food.  Frills on 4th is a gem in our community, you can learn more  about the boutique at  https://www.frillsonfourth.com or follow them on Facebook @frillsonfourth.
