Dear Community Organizations:
SVCHC and the Back to School (BTS) Committee warmly invite your organization to host an informational booth at the Sonoma Valley Back to School Health Fair, taking place on Saturday, August 9th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Altimira Middle School. This event aims to help students, families, and the community start the school year healthy and prepared. It will feature health services, informational booths, and interactive activities to support student well-being. To receive a backpack with school supplies, students must attend and complete an informational booth passport. We would love to have you join us! Please feel free to share this invitation with any other agencies or organizations you believe might be interested in participating.
Celebrating a Milestone
This year marks a meaningful milestone—our 10th anniversary—as we celebrate a decade of community collaboration and shared commitment to student wellness. We extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing CEO, Cheryl Johnson, whose vision and leadership helped establish this event. Her legacy lives on through the continued success of the Health Fair, co-founded in 2015 with the support of key partners including Sonoma Valley Hospital, SVUSD, La Luz Center, El Verano School, and Head Start.
We are especially grateful to all the committee members who have contributed over the past decade—and to our current BTS Committee members (seen above), whose collaboration and commitment continue to drive this event forward. This milestone would not have been possible without their collective effort and unwavering dedication.

This event couldn't be possible without all the wonderful volunteers. FUNDRAISING
Our school supply fundraiser runs through the end of July, and every contribution—big or small—is truly appreciated. We are deeply grateful to all the donors and sponsors who have supported this event over the past decade. Your generosity has made a meaningful impact on the lives of Sonoma Valley students.
