Booz Allen Hamilton plans strategic move to Beavercreek

Booz Allen Hamilton, a management consulting and technology firm based in McLean, Va. will combine its Beavercreek and Kettering offices in a new 30,000-square-foot Beavercreek location at 3800 Pentagon Blvd. The office will feature an open, flexible space more resembling of a tech startup than a traditional corporate office.

Rick Holley, senior vice president and leader of Booz Allen's Dayton operations, said the new space is part of a company-wide strategy to move toward office environments that encourage collaboration and innovation.

"The newer facilities tend to be a lot more open and a lot more interactive," he said.

Holley said the firm aims to move into the class A Mills Development property within the year.

Booz Allen has 400 staff members in the Dayton area, with a presence also at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base along with the off-base offices. The new space will be built out to support up to 160 employees.

After the company moves, it will consolidate two office spaces. Booz Allen has an office in Beavercreek at 4141 Colonel Glenn Highway and in Kettering at Miami Valley Research Park.

Booz Allen Hamilton employs about 22,600 people globally and had revenue of $5.41 billion for the business year ending March 31, according to the company.
