Our Fall Wine Seminar Series Begins Next Month
Bordeaux
When:  Friday, September 14th at 7PM
Who:  Ed Addiss of Wine Traditions
What: Bordeaux
We are very excited to welcome back Ed Addiss of Wine Traditions, whose portfolio of French wines are some of the most unique, traditional, interesting wines.  And they're great values.  Before Ed carried so many wines from the Loire and Southwest of France, he was known for his great Bordeaux portfolio.  It will be these wines that we'll focus on this evening.  This promises to be a greatly informative seminar on a region that many people are interested in.  The cost is free, but this event will fill up quickly, so reserve your place to insure a spot.

Zinfandel Sale!
Renwood
We have a great deal on some of the Zinfandels of Renwood winery.  Recently the winery was sold.  The new owners brought in new winemakers and are completely redesigning the package.  This means they need to move out of the old inventory.  And that means deals for you.  We tasted through the line up and brought in three Zinfandels that we thought offered great value.

Did You Know Charlestown Wine and Spirits Sells Cheese?
Ok, we don't have this much cheese.
Perhaps a use for our basement?
It's true!  Jane has added cheese monger to her title, and is working to find the most interesting cheeses from Southern New England.  We have a constantly rotating selection so the next time you're looking for some fantastic cheese, remember that Charlestown Wine and Spirits is the place to go!

Some Exciting New Wines to Try this Weekend!
Friday 4-7:00PM
2010 Milbrandt Vineyards Riesling  $11.99
For years, the Milbrandt family sourced the grapes they farmed to wineries around Washington.  with the sixth generation, they decided to make their own wines.  We're huge fans of the whites, especially this off dry unique Riesling that just might change your perception of west coast Riesling.
2011 Domaine Rimbert Saint-Chinian  $15.99
New vintage here of a wonderful red from France.   A great representative of the natural wine movement.
2010 Maccario Barbera D'Asti Lavignone  $16.99
We've got a new Barbera to show of, and this single vineyard offering is quite the wine for under $20.
Saturday 3-6PM
2009 Domaine des Rochers Pouilly-Fuisse  $18.99
We thought we should pour our best value Pouilly-Fuisse before the summer's over.
2011 Bonhomme Rose de Loire $9.99
Let's pour some rose before the summers over as well.
2009 Inkberry Shiraz/Cabernet  $12.99
