Registration for the K-16 Math for Careers Summit is Now Open!

Educational leaders from San Diego and Imperial Counties are invited to join us on September 12th at the UC San Diego Price Center where we will:

  • Consider STEM outcomes, achievement data, and equity gaps for students across all educational segments;
  • Develop a better understanding of math course sequencing, curriculum, and pedagogy as it relates to career readiness in STEM;
  • Learn about successful models for addressing the challenges and inequitable outcomes in the STEM educational pipeline;
  • Develop action plans around increasing educational alignment in STEM career pathways.

Round 2 Deadline Approaching!


The deadline to submit 24-25 Work Plans and Budget Applications is quickly approaching on May 31st.


PLEASE NOTE: We understand that many are still waiting to hear about awards from the Golden State Pathways Program and that this information will impact your plans for next year. However, we ask that you please submit your work plan to us by May 31st regardless and if the plan needs to be modified at a later date, we can do so at that time.

Postsecondary Information

Become a Verified Program in Business, Computing & Engineering: Applications open in June!

In partnership with the San Diego Regional EDC and the Imperial Valley EDC, the K-16 Collaborative is rolling out the verified program application for Business, Computing & Engineering programs. The application will open in mid-June. If approved in December, your program becomes a Verified Program. Among many other benefits, students enrolled in verified program courses will have access to paid internships with various employers in Summer 2025.

Wednesday, June 12th at 3-4 pm:

Computing and Engineering Verified Program Two-part Application Overview (only for programs that were denied last year or programs that did not submit an application)


Thursday, June 13th at 10-11:30 am:

San Diego Business Talent Demand Report Presentation and Discussion / Business Verified Program Two-part Application Overview (previously approved programs need to apply)

Important K-16 Collaborative Reporting Updates


Expenditure Reporting:

Expenditure reports for spending between January 1 - June 30, 2024, are due July 25. If you have any questions please contact Mayra or attend her office hours. Office Hours will be every Tuesday in July from 10:00-11:00am. ZOOM LINK.


Quarterly Narrative Reporting:

For anyone receiving funds, the narrative report is due on July 25. Please use your district’s template for submission. If you need access to your narrative report template please contact Mayra.


Data Reporting:

For ALL K-12, community college and university partners, completion data (and enrollment data if you did not submit it) is due on July 25. If you need access to your data submission form please contact Christine.
