Career Pathways Program (CPP)
The Career Pathways Program (CPP), operated through CREATE at UC San Diego and supported by the K-16 Collaborative Border Region Talent Pipeline, has developed a support structure to leverage campus resources and support high school students in the college and career exploration process. CPP is a FREE online program for high school students in San Diego and Imperial Counties that creates conversation around key industry sectors, including Business, Engineering, Computing, Education, and Health, though a program Discord channel. The program also features dedicated advisors who explore, plan, and support students in each industry sector. This fall, CPP is planning a "Choosing a Career" event at UC San Diego for each key sector that will expose high school students to university faculty and current UCSD students.
