From Mayor Charles J. X. Kahwaty
2024 Mayor's Volunteer Award
Nomination Deadline November 22, 2024
The Mayor and Council are accepting applications for the Franklin Lakes 2024 Mayor’s Volunteer Award. This annual Award recognizes worthy volunteers. Volunteerism is an integral part of the Borough's success, without which the Borough’s many emergency services, recreational and social programs would cease to exist. Volunteers have given tirelessly their time throughout the years to benefit the residents of Franklin Lakes.
The Borough’s volunteers have sat on various municipal boards, led Girl Scout and Boy Scout activities, coached our children, have helped out in emergencies, and have served on the Fire Department and Ambulance Corps. These are only a few of the many activities provided by the Borough’s volunteers.
Volunteers provide services and fill the needs of many that would otherwise not be met. Volunteers are owed the Borough’s gratitude and respect. The Franklin Lakes 2024 Mayor's Award can recognize those groups and individuals who have given so selflessly of their time and talent in service to others.
The nomination form is available in the Office of the Borough Administrator, 480 DeKorte Drive, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, or ask for a nomination form by email at ghart@franklinlakes.org. Nomination forms must be submitted by November 22, 2024.
