Mosquitoes & Standing Water
Standing water is the most favorable habitat for mosquito larvae to grow hence making way for blood-sucking, disease-carrying mosquitoes to grow. The best way to make a place rid of mosquitoes is by making sure there is no standing water. There are several ways one can do that. It includes draining any standing water from pots, pans, ponds and rain gutters etc. In case the eater cannot be drained frequently, bacterial insecticides can be used to kill larvae, preventing mosquitoes.
