Bottle Cap
“Writing is my profession… daydreaming is my full-time job”
I created the Studio “E” (existential) studio to write and perform psychotronic works that address our human condition. Specifically, some of the life events many of us have encountered in some shape or form in our lives. In these existential works we address the instantaneous encounter with other people who come alive to us on a very different level. Instantaneous referring to the quality of our encounters with other people.
In Bottle Cap, we address existential life micro-moments, of a son dealing with a selfish and toxic father over a ten year- period.
This work is based on a true-life event and was performed in a black-box format to capture the power and emotion of the story. The film features three actors who will be making their debuts with the troupe. A.J. Rodrigues as the son, Cloe Weiser- Fisher as the mother, and Josh Miller as the father.
Be safe. Be well. Be Happy. Be Nice!
Existentially,
Rich and the Demitasse Players
