Memorial Day is Monday, May 25th
Memorial Day honors all American military personnel who died in wars and conflicts while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. It specifically commemorates those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending the nation, its freedoms, and democratic values — from the Revolutionary War through today’s conflicts. Boulder County Republicans remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives so that the United States could endure as a free nation.

Notes from Desk of BCR Chairman, Peg Cage
RELATIONSHIPS
President Trump and President Xi walked through China’s “secret garden” and talked together congenially, challenging the public’s perception of how world power “enemies” are supposed to act. Watch Barbara Boyd: Trump's REAL China Win
The Boulder County Republicans’ Liberty Road Show tent at Cinco De Mayo was set up next to New Era Colorado’s booth, where they were collecting petition signatures for the “graduated state income tax” and explaining that we need to “tax the rich” more. Here's the link to their website. Ryan Rhatigan, Candidate for HD12, visited with them throughout the day and explained why that’s a terrible idea. He probably won some votes!
The PCPs in Precinct 608 invited me to their HOA’s neighborhood gathering. We met some fellow Republicans there and now the PCPs are planning to host a gathering of neighboring Republicans to build relationships and prepare to get out the vote.
Relationships take time and some effort, but they are the foundation of the culture shift needed in Boulder County and Colorado.
The officers and other volunteer Boulder County Republicans are proud to be hosting regular events for educational and planning purposes and to spend time with our candidates. We have a delightful office, managed and staffed by volunteers six days a week. We have candidates in local and statewide elections who could use your help to become our voices in government. We have blank spots on the ballot that maybe you know the perfect person to fill. We have a lot of work to do. Maybe we need you?
