Boulware Springs Nature Park

The City of Gainesville’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department and the Wild Spaces & Public Places Department invite you to attend a neighborhood workshop to discuss future improvements at Boulware Springs Nature Park.

What: Boulware Springs Improvements Neighborhood Workshop

When: Tuesday, Oct. 15, 6-7 p.m.

Where: 3300 SE 15th St. (Under the pavilion next to the trailhead)

Proposed upgrades include renovation of the historic water works building, the addition of a

restroom building at the trailhead, additional parking, a connecting drive from the trailhead to the water works building, landscaping and stormwater treatment. Improvements would

better integrate the park’s entry and address stormwater and erosion issues. The renovated

building would serve as a nature education facility and rental venue for special events and meetings. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2025 and last one year. The trailhead will remain open during construction.

Please note, this event is outdoors, so be sure to dress accordingly.
