Earlier this summer, 35 driven students embarked on an unforgettable multi-day college tour, visiting Florida State University (FSU), Florida A&M University (FAMU), and the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Representing four of our Partner Schools — Village Academy, Atlantic High School, Santaluces High School, and Boynton Beach High School — these students came together for an experience designed to inspire and empower. Along the way, they explored vibrant campuses, connected with Bound For College alumni, and gained valuable insight into college applications and what college life is really like.

From meaningful conversations to walking through university quads, every moment of the tour sparked new possibilities.

Village Academy buzzed with energy as 45 students participated in our exciting two-week STEM Summer Camp! Designed to ignite curiosity and a love for science, the camp offered hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences for our middle school students.

The first week welcomed rising 6th graders, while the second week focused on rising 7th and 8th graders. Each session was packed with interactive experiments that captivated students and deepened their understanding of how the world works—from chemistry reactions to engineering challenges.

To cap off each week, students took a field trip to Lion Country Safari, where they explored animal habitats and learned about conservation efforts. It was the perfect blend of science, discovery, and fun!

The celebration was made even more meaningful thanks to the support of Bound For College alumni and current Viner Scholars, many of whom returned to volunteer, share their journeys, and inspire the next generation of recipients.
