Join us for our first ever Saturday Tabletop! This event is ALL AGES.
It's a great chance to try out a new board game or two, meet fellow tabletop gamers, and spend an afternoon at your favorite library. Snacks and beverages are provided.
Join us for a special storytime at the fire station! Stories and songs are just part of the fun--your family can also meet some brave local firefighters (and their mascot Sparky!), get a tour of the station, and learn more about the special gear and equipment firefighters use. This all-ages program has limited space and requires registration. Please call 815-933-1727 to reserve your spot today.
We have had several new staff members recently join our team. We would like to introduce you to Raegan, the newest member of our Youth Services Team!
Raegan just graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a BA in Psychology. She plans on pursuing her Masters in School Counseling with a bilingual concentration. In the mean time, she gets to live out one of her dreams of working in a library. Raegan is obsessed with Harry Potter (she's the proudest of Hufflepuffs!) and is a tea enthusiast.

"I am so very excited to join the Youth Services Team! I will be helping out in a wide variety of ways. I will be helping with the Afterschool Clubhouse, leading a storytime, working on putting up displays, decorations, and activities to make our space more fun and inviting, and because I have a huge heart for teens I'd love to start a book club for that age at the high school! Not to sound cheesy but I really am equally excited for all aspects of the job!"
