As the colder weather settles in, it can be tricky to get outdoors, keep a routine, make healthy food choices and to stay happy and healthy.

The Bow Valley PCN has a team of qualified clinicians and programs to support elements of your health and wellness this Fall.

Here are a few ways to start, learn or refresh your routine...

  • Active Living Consultant, Kiley Torti, has a well-deserved following of locals who value her supportive and energetic approach in meeting their specialized needs. Kiley willl help you to create a realistic and safe active-living program; answer questions and customize your routine based on your health conditions or past injuries to get you moving safely!

  • Mental Health Clinician, Kate Rive, who we are excited to welcome as our NEW Mental Health Clinician, her practice is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive; grounded in attachment, mindfulness, and systems theory. Kate can meet with adults 18+ to improve overall emotional and mental well-being; adjust to family or lifestyle changes and transitions; cope with stress, anxiety and depression; and to support healthy relationships and lifestyle habits. Please note: for urgent, acute or severe mental health concerns or addictions, please consult your family doctor or visit for a directory of local resources.

  • Pharmacist, Jolene Gunn,  who brings passion, years of experience and provides education on topics such as sleep, neuorplasticity and pain management. Jolene will review your medications and medical concerns with a goal of finding ways to optimize your health. From specific dosage questions, side effects, new treatment advice, or if you are looking to reduce the number of medications you take Jolene is a great care provider to have on your health care team.

  • Registered Dietitian, Zarifa Monson, brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for improving people's lives through informed diet and nutrition. Zarifa will meet with you to review your current habits, answer questions, and provide tips to support you in improving your nutrition journey for a healthier mind, body and soul!

Open to older adults aged 55+ living anywhere in Alberta who find it difficult to leave their homes and are not tech-savvy.

The Palliative Care Society of the Bow Valley

The Palliative Care Society of the Bow Valley offers a group support program.

Grief Support Group: Wednesdays from 7 - 8 p.m. via Zoom.
Participants email Bill to receive the link.
These groups are drop-in, and are open to anybody, 18+ grieving a loss.

Bow Valley Stroke Support Group Meeting

Have you or someone you know suffered a stroke? This is an opportunity to participate in a virtual 'living with stroke' monthly meeting in a safe supportive environment with other survivors who can identify with how all aspects of our lives have been affected.

The program offers fellowship, encouragement and conversation. Meetings include friendship, education and opportunities to express where we are in a space with people who understand.
