Boxwood Pop-Up Boutique Recap

Boxwood Class of 2019

In October, Boxwood had its first pop-up urban boutique where our students shopped for free. Twenty-three (23) of the 28 people who benefited were young parents and children attending Boxwood for their GED. It was the first event that I coordinated from organizing the clothes, event flyers, and all event forms. My takeaway? Everyone that came to Boxwood to shop left very satisfied, walking out with at least 10 outfits for themselves or their kids. I was really impressed by the many brand names that we carried.

In this article we highlight upcoming events. Hope to see you there!

Boxwood Champion Volunteer

"As a Boxwood volunteer, I am privileged to be counted among a group of true ‘Champions’. The youth who are served set an example for those of us who serve, causing us to recognize that through all of life’s challenges that it’s our connection within this community that brings out the best in each other. When we reflect upon their success, we realize just how far their perseverance and commitment has carried them and just how blessed we are to support and encourage them along the way."
