DONOR INSIGHTS NEWSLETTER
April 2021
THE TIMES MAY HAVE CHANGED,
BUT THE MISSION REMAINS THE SAME!

It is the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington to empower
all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach
their full potential as caring, productive, and responsible citizens.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT
TO BUY TICKETS FOR SGSW!!
Make plans to join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington virtually on Thursday,
April 8th at 6:00 p.m. for the annual event: SMART Girls, STRONG Women (presented by: Comprehensive Financial Consultants)! This will truly be
"An Evening of Empowerment" as we share remarkable stories of overcoming the odds. We hope you join us for this unique and heart-felt event from the comfort of your own home as the Club attempts to raise the necessary funds that will enable our continuous effort to provide world-class programming.

This year, we are so excited to welcome Mona Dixon as our keynote speaker!
Mona is a Boys & Girls Club alum and was named the 2010-2011 National Youth of the Year recipient.
From a cardboard box to the White House, Mona will share her miraculous story that began with humbled beginnings as she was homeless and living on the streets until the age of 13. Just four years later, she was standing in the Oval Office being named a Presidential Appointee by President Obama.
Mona credits the Boys & Girls Club with changing her life.
By purchasing a $40.00 ticket to this one-hour event, you will receive a private Event Link to enjoy the virtual show featuring Mona Dixon. Additionally, you are making a donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington as we continue to fulfill the mission of empowering all young people – especially those who need us most.

While we wish we could be together in-person this year, we hope you consider supporting our Club kids by “attending” this unique event online! Thank you for your support, and we look forward to “seeing” you for An Evening of Empowerment during SMART Girls, STRONG Women on
Thursday, April 8th at 6:00 p.m.!
