THE TIMES MAY HAVE CHANGED,
BUT THE MISSION REMAINS THE SAME!
It is the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington to empower
all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach
their full potential as caring, productive, and responsible citizens.

BOYS to MEN (Presented by: The Ken Nunn Law Office) proved to be an incredible success on Thursday, October 22nd, as over $90,000 was raised to support world-class programming at the Club! The hour-long virtual event featured various stories, entertainment, laughter, and plenty of emotion as Executive Director Jeff Baldwin introduced the immense impact of the first BOYS to MEN mentoring circle in 2019. Special thank you to all of the event sponsors, our Restaurant Partners, guest speakers - especially Brian, our event co-host and member of the Ferguson Crestmont Club - and donors for making BOYS to MEN an event that will long be remembered!

|
On Saturday, October 3rd, the Club hosted the Father Daughter Dance, a free outreach event that has been a community staple for more than 10 years. Despite the event being held virtually, it was an incredibly successful evening as over 100 participants danced the night away! Because of its virtual platform, the dance was opened up to mothers and sons to participate as well - making the Fall Ball (Presented by: Rogers Group) a true family affair!
|
|
Participants were treated to a two-hour virtual dance via Zoom featuring a variety of songs. Additionally, all early-registrants received an Activity Packet complete with a variety of arts and crafts for the whole family to enjoy! Finally - with special appreciation to FAR Gallery - all dancers were able to get their picture taken together as if we were in the Lincoln Street Club in-person!
Special thank you to all of our sponsors for their FANTASTIC support of the Fall Ball! Additional gratitude to our community partners who banded together to provide such an amazing experience for our dancers: The Auxiliary,
Chick-fil-A, FAR Gallery, and Dance Machine Entertainment Service!

|
On Saturday, October 17th,
1st Annual Classic Car Show at the beautiful Switchyard Park Pavilion! Over 70 classic vehicles registered for the event in which 50% of the net proceeds went to benefit Club programming!
Special thank you to Brian Dorsey with Meineke and Troy Whittington with HFI for their incredible leadership in making this event such a success for the community!

|
As we approach the holiday season, please know that there are many different avenues available to support the Club and our Club members!

FC Tucker/Bloomington Realtors
Creative Supply Drive!
|
|
Creativity has empowered us all to make it through these challenging times.
Creativity has been so important at the Club in enabling us to find ways to
continue serving as many kids as possible no matter what. Creativity is also
such a key outlet for our members in the Clubs to be able to express themselves
and stay entertained through all of this. Let's work together to ensure we
continue to pass creativity on to the upcoming generations!
|
|
FC Tucker/Bloomington Realtors understands the power of creativity, and they want to ensure that our Club kids never go without the tools essential to expressing their creativity! Throughout the month of November, they will be collecting creative supplies that will then be donated to the Club! For a printable list of needed supplies, please click here.
All creative supplies can be dropped off at their office located at 487 S. Clarriz Blvd.
