December Member Spotlight

We asked our members to share with us some information about themselves and their time at the Club. Throughout the year, we will share their responses with you.

This month we'd like to highlight Bernasia from our Teen Center.

Bernasia is in 10th grade at Bradford High School. Her favorite activity at the Club is making TikToks. She likes being at the Club because she gets to spend time with her role model. She wants to be a a model when she gets older and if she could have any super power it would be the ability to fly.

From our family to yours, we want to wish you a very Happy Holiday season! We are so thankful to have you as part of our lives!

We would like to give a huge thanks to Haribo for sponsoring our members allowing them to attend the Haribo Invitational at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Our members had such a great time and we were so happy to see the joy on their faces. Not only did they get some great advice about college and life, they also were able to watch a great game and got some awesome t-shirts donated by Educators Credit Union.

Thank you all for allowing us the opportunity to provide another great memory for our members!

BGCK's Thanksgiving Dinner a Success

The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha held our annual Thanksgiving Dinner last month and had an amazing time with all of our youth members. We were able to provide a full Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings and delicious desserts. We want to thank our wonderful staff for cooking this delicious meal and serving it to our members and their families! We are so grateful to be able to provide this meal and this new memory for our members!

BGCK Teens on National Maytag Video

The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha is extremely proud to present our very own Maytag Feel Good Fridge video. That's right, we are FAMOUS. Thanks to the Boys & Girls Club of America and Maytag who chose us to highlight how the Maytag Feel Good Fridge is making a huge impact. Our teens did an amazing job on camera AND, not to brag too much, are pretty amazing in general.

Thank you Maytag for this amazing opportunity to be a part of your Maytag Feel Good Fridge grant and thank you Boys and Girls Club of America for allowing us to show how great our teens are!

Basketball Season Starts

BGC Sports Basketball season started Saturday, December 10th. Congratulations to our Bambino Bucks for being awarded our "Squad Goals Sponsored By Jockey" award which is an award for our youth ahtletes that represent good teamwork and sportsmanship. Way to go Bambino's!

BGC Sports Afterschool Season Ends

BGC Sports offers afterschool sports programming to 16 local schools. This is a free program for students in these schools.

The Club provides the equipment, jerseys, the facility and the referee's so students can participate without any cost barriers.

One of the sports offered yearly is flag football. With the season now ended, we would like to congratulate all teams on an amazing afterschool sports season!
