October 2021 Newsletter
Back to School & Better than Ever
We never take a single approach to help kids succeed. It takes caring mentors, such as our trained Club staff. It takes a safe place, like our Clubs that are consistently there for the kids they serve. It takes innovative, quality programs designed to empower youth to excel in school and lead healthy, productive lives. We do whatever it takes to ensure all kids have a great future.

Fairgrove Unit
Happy September everyone! We are so happy to have our club at Fairgrove Elementary School! As the youth have been adjusting to getting in the routine of school, our Youth Development Professionals are here to give them guidance. At Fairgrove we serve K-6th grade youth before and after school. We are all like a big family everyone knows everyone. A lot of our youth members love to make art & drawing. We are also outdoors quite a bit, whether talking about the eco system to soccer and basketball. Together they are on their way to Great Futures!

Grover Beach Unit
Grover Beach is excited to be back in school not just for Before school care but for Bright Futures after school care as well! This past month and a half we have been focusing on ways to decorate our two classrooms to make them feel more welcoming. We wanted to get the youth involved in the planning and decorating processes. We have also started with some fun youth suggested activities to kick off the year which they have loved so far. We wanted to welcome back our youth in the most exciting ways possible and help get them readjusted to going back to school in person, including fun enriching activities and a safe and quiet space for them to do their homework.
