Teacher of the Month Mr.Kevin  Big Dragon Co-Teacher

Favorite Color: Green  Favorite Food: Charcuterie  Favorite Children's Book: Mr.Willowby's Christmas Tree  Favorite TV Show: Survivor  This months Staff highlight is Mr.Kevin our Big Dragon Co-Teacher! He is from Seal Beach, CA but now lives in Lincoln Heights. His weekends are spent renovating his tiny house (or escaping it to the desert, Palm Springs or Joshua Tree are his fav!)  Academically Mr. Kevin has 10+ years of experience working with children, and a BA in English Education with an emphasis in Theater. After college Mr.Kevin pursued his passion of sketch comedy and is an alum of the prestigious Sunday Company at The Groundlings and was on a Harold team at The Upright Citizens Brigade. While striving towards his creative goals he continued working with children in many capacities including Camp Counselor, California-State-Standards tutor, and nanny and has finished up all his Early Childhood Degree!  Below are a few of the focuses he has picked this month!

CAREER OF THE MONTH  Following in the footsteps of his passion, Mr.Kevin chose  COMEDIAN as our career of the month!

ARTIST OF THE MONTH Yayoi Kusama Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese contemporary artist who works primarily in sculpture and installation, but is also active in painting, performance, film, fashion, poetry, fiction, and other arts.

Our children will be creating their own pieced of work this month inspired by Yayoi Kusama.
