Artististic Feature of the Month:

The Rose Parade Floats

The Rose Parade happens every year in the City of Pasadena and these floats are worked on for months leading up the event. They start with an exoskeleton of paper mache, wire and other materials and then during the final stages of preparation a variety of seeds, bark, fruits and vegetables, grasses and of course, flowers are being applied to the floats.

We hope that our dragons can dabble in the same process and make something for their class to share with families!

Our school-wide fundraiser WINTER SOLSTICE 2024 is in just a few days DECEMBER 7! This year our fundraising goals go to Campus Beautification and classroom technology improvements. You can buy tickets at the door!

Our families participation is crucial to reaching our goal and providing our Dragons with the best possible learning environment and having our parents involved adds to the excitement around our Winter Solstice event. You can contribute by volunteering some time before, during or after our event or even helping with some food and drink donations! Every class has a goal and every bit counts -- we appreciate your support! During this event we hope to get 100% parent participation - teamwork makes the dream work!

Exploration Classes:

Exploration classes are taking a break this month due to all the activities, we will see all our amazing teachers in the New Year! Thank you Ms.Juvy, Ms.Anne and Ms.Alex for creating such a fun space for our children to explore new activities and languages.
