Greetings!
In the Bay Area it is hard enough to be an owner and stay in business with rising rents, wages and barriers to financing. Now on top of those challenges is greater urgency to anticipate and adapt to coming technological change, specifically Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics. In the last month I plowed through hundreds of pages of reports by McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) on the Future of Work. The data highlighting the impacts to women and minority populations were impressive. I believe that it is important to share this information with diverse start-up entrepreneurs and established small and Mid-Market businesses. Since the majority of clients of The CraneWorks are women, one line summarizes the impact of AI on us in particular. Go to the source link below for the report.
Men and women need to be skilled, mobile, and tech-savvy in the automation age, but women face pervasive barriers.
Concerted and creative new solutions are needed to enable women to move forward.
The most optimistic recommendation was to be creative! So I have been collaborating for weeks with thoughtful professionals, artists and technologists to be creative and leap forward! The result is a series of four webinars through the end of 2019 under the theme,
