April 2019
Brampton's Annual Spring Cleanup
Melting snow and warmer temperatures mean spring is here, but it also means the garbage that’s been hidden for months is surfacing. City crews will be out cleaning parks and streets but everyone has a part to play.

The annual Spring Cleanup happens all throughout April to help community members tidy their properties, neighbourhoods and parks. Volunteer for a self-led cleanup or join one of the organized cleanup events. Click here for a complete schedule .

City crews have started sweeping streets to remov e sand and debris that has built up throughout the winter. Sweeping will continue until the end of May, weather permitting.

As we say hello to spring, the City has one simple reminder for everyone: don’t be trashy. Litter lasts and it impacts our environment, our wallets, and the way we feel about our community. Everyone knows that littering is wrong, so just don’t do it. It’s easy to help keep Brampton clean and growing green. [ more... ]
