Director's Message: Brand Identity
We had a great event Monday night at South County Lanes (see below) and are grateful for the over 100 people who attended, and all of our sponsors. Dare I say, everyone had a fantastic time! The Chamber is striving to bring people and businesses together in our area and promote a shop local first attitude. Promoting your business at these events is a great way to get your brand noticed by more people and other businesses.
We are starting to kickoff our spring and summer activity calendars.
As you know, there are plenty of things to do in our community to stay active and involved (see calendar below). I am trying to keep up with all the events and sponsorship opportunities so our members have all the information in one place to better coordinate their marketing efforts. Watch this newsletter and checkout the website regularly.
A great way to increase your brand identity is to update your Chamber profile. Our website is getting more traffic and improving its content monthly. YOU manage your profile and I encourage you to login into your account ("Member Login" on our website) and update everything possible so your message is clear about who you are and what you do. If you need any help, please reach out to me.
Lastly, I have spent the last 25+ years printing and supporting brand marketing. I recently read some excellent articles emphasizing the importance of brand identity and how to improve (see links below).
Your brand identifies you through graphics and words. The more consistently it is seen, the more it is remembered. Let the Chamber help you market your company by attending and sponsoring events, updating your Chamber profile, and increasing your membership level. Enjoy these tips and best of success!

It was great to see so many members, friends and family enjoying bowling, laser tag, pizza, and fellowship Monday night at our annual meeting.
Thank you to South County Lanes & Family Fun Center for hosting such a great event. Everyone had a fun night and many were able to make new contacts and hopefully long lasting relationships.
We couldn't have done it without our many sponsors and we thank them for their support!
We also thank all those who brought door prizes and believe every member in attendance took something home. Can't wait until next year!

Passes & fails: Here's what happened during Utah's 2023 legislative session | The Utah Legislature tore through hundreds of bills during its 45-day session. Lawmakers tackled taxes, criminal justice, education and everything in between. They didn't steer clear of controversy, either. In fact, they frontloaded the session by introducing and passing two contentious bills within the first two weeks. Gov.
Submit a Short Video of Your Business
Video can help your business reach new audiences and attract new viewers to your social media pages and website, which is likely why "increase brand awareness" is the number one reason brands use video.
Video content is unique in that not only does it tell your brand’s story, but it shows it. Creating fun, lively video content will better show the personality of your brand, and is likely to be viewed, liked and shared.
To help promote your businesses we are looking to put your self-created videos on our Face Book page. Create a 30 - 60 second commercial or tour of your business and let us help tell your story! Send to [email protected]
