We know that finding quality photographs to use for free can be a complicated matter for businesses.

Shaun Davey an award-winning local landscape photographer is also a much-valued volunteer for Exmoor National Park. Over recent months, Shaun has been putting together a library of photos by himself and other talented photographers which can be used for FREE by local businesses to help promote themselves and to encourage visitors to come to the National Park.

‘Exmoor Commons’ is hosted within the Exmoor National Park Flickr channel, which many of you will have used before. The Exmoor Commons library will become the main focus for general landscape shots of Exmoor, while we will continue to use albums within Flickr for photos relating to specific initiatives or events etc.

We are very grateful to Shuan for his work on this and the generosity of the talented photographers that have allowed us to share their work for your use. Keep your eyes peeled, as this will be updated further in due course.

I have another question about using the photos. Who should I contact? In the first instance, please read the Exmoor Commons rules which include detailed terms and conditions. If that does not answer your question, please email RuralEnterprise@exmoor-nationalpark.gov.uk

A fond farewell

We are very sad that after 7 years working for Exmoor National Park Katrina Munro will be leaving us next week for a new adventure. Katrina has been the first point of contact between many businesses and the National Park Authority and will be well known to most of you.

Katrina has had a huge impact on Exmoor, developing initiatives such as our dark skies tourism work and the festival, Eat Exmoor, Park Partners, CareMoor for Exmoor and much more besides. We will shortly be recruiting for a new post covering our business engagement work, but in the meantime do email though any queries to ruralenterprise@exmoor-nationalpark.gov.uk.
