Do you know Mervin Manufacturing? Local snowboard & binding manufacturer Mervin Manufacturing, builders of hot in the shop brands Gnu Snowboards, Lib Tech Snowboards & Bent Metal Bindings.

Mervin Manufacturing is born & based in Seattle & the PNW. Headquartered in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, and the snowboards are built in their environmentally conscious factory in Sequim, WA. We are proud to be an authorized dealer for all three brands.

We have new products from all 3 brands in addition to a limited selection of demo snowboards for demo rental in season.

BITCHIN’ BOARD BUILDERS
We build snowboards, skis, skateboards and surfboards, No really… that is what we do. We don’t order them from China or anywhere else and send someone to go check and see how they turned out. We physically hand build them right here at home in the USA. We buy the toughest, lightest, strongest, most environmental materials; many of which aren’t meant for snowboards or used by anyone else for what we use them for.

Bent Metal Binding Works, 30 years of environmental minded high performance snowboard composite expertise applied to snowboard bindings. Performance tuned FLEX CONTROL DRIVE PLATES hand laminated at Mervin MFG. in the USA provide three distinct levels of toe to heel board control and response. A snowboard legacy built into each binding.

Gnu was created in a hypothermic induced delirium in the early 80?s by Mike Olson who has been building snowboards since 1977. Mike Pioneered deep carving sidecuts and too many other odd things to mention here. Today Mike and Pete still head up Gnu. Of course every Gnu Banana, Magnatraction “joy stick” is hand built by the snowboarders with jobs at Mervin Manufacturing in Washington State just like they were in the beginning… now even weirder.
