Feb. 5 - Florida Small Business Development Center - Office Hours at BRCC

 

The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Hillsborough County assists existing and emerging businesses in Hillsborough County, through no-cost confidential business consulting, information, and low-cost training. Whether starting, buying, growing, or selling a business, the Florida SBDC at USF has what entrepreneurs need to grow and succeed. Consultants can assist entrepreneurs in a variety of business areas, including: marketing, business certification, capital access, market diversification, developing strategic business plans, export services, and web optimization.

Feb. 6 - Ambassador Team Meeting


Ambassador Team Meeting - Ambassadors are highly visible, prestigious volunteers who serve as the Chamber's primary liaison to Chamber members. Considered the goodwill arm of the Chamber, the Ambassador Team plays an essential role in member recruitment, communication, and retention. Each Ambassador is charged with conveying member needs, questions, and concerns to Chamber staff, keeping our Chamber in line with our members' desires.

Feb. 27 - Annual Meeting


Join us for the Brandon Riverview Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting. This signature luncheon brings together business leaders, community partners, and Chamber members to celebrate the successes of the past year, recognize outstanding contributions, and share the vision for the year ahead.


During the event, attendees will enjoy an afternoon of connection and celebration, including:


  • Reflections and highlights of 2025
  • Recognition of members and community partners
  • Installation of the 2026 Chair and Board of Directors
  • An overview of the Chamber’s strategic priorities for 2026


The Annual Meeting serves as both a celebration and a launchpad—honoring the achievements that strengthened the Brandon and Riverview business community in 2025, while outlining the initiatives that will drive growth, advocacy, and collaboration in 2026. Members, guests, and community leaders are invited to join this important gathering as we step confidently into a new year of progress and partnership.

Feb. 9 - ServSafe Manager's Class and Exam


The University of Florida's Food Safety and Quality Program is dedicated to providing training which enables food managers and staff to offer Florida consumers food that is prepared in a clean and safe environment. This training is offered through IFAS Cooperative Extension County offices throughout the State of Florida. We conduct a comprehensive training that provides the most up-to-date information and current regulations.

The agriculture community and the Florida State Fair are excited to once again partner in hosting the Fresh from Florida Breakfast at the 2026 Florida State Fair. This event aims to showcase Florida-grown products and raise awareness about the importance of agriculture in our community.


Attendees will include elected officials, members of local chambers of commerce, leaders of agricultural organizations, and other VIPs.

Easterseals Florida is offering autism screenings to families at no cost on Friday, February 6th from 6 - 8 pm at the School for Limitless Learning located in the BayCare Health Hub at 2460 Bloomingdale Ave., Suite 170, Valrico, FL 33596.
