The concept for National Law Enforcement Week was developed in 2014 to be held annually in Branson, Missouri during the second week of June to honor and recognize those in law enforcement. Our mission statement is: "To invite active and retired law enforcement personnel and their families to come for a weeklong series of events annually to pay tribute to those that serve and protect."

National Law Enforcement Week has something for your whole family to enjoy! Events range from fishing tournaments to parades, golf tournaments, and more! Many businesses offer discounts to law enforcement families, and some offer free admission as well.

GROUNDBREAKING FOR FIRE STATION #4

The City of Branson joined with fire department personnel last week to celebrate the groundbreaking for the city’s long-awaited fourth fire station. Fire Station #4 will be located on Champagne Blvd. in the city’s Ward 3. The Branson Board of Aldermen approved a contract with Construct Companies, LLC for $4.06 million for construction of the facility. The design contract for the building was $505,500 with Hoefer Welker, LLC. The overall project has a projected budget of $5 million.



“Fire Station #4 will be important to reducing fire and emergency response times throughout Branson,” said Chief Ted Martin who has served as Branson Fire Chief since 2012 and expresses appreciation for this new station now underway. “While Fire Station #4 is located in southwest Branson, the addition of another complete station, equipped with manpower, resources and emergency vehicles, will enhance our current services that already excel in fire rescue operations, risk reduction and emergency preparedness,” said Martin.
