LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

Governor Parson signed the following bills into law last week.

SB 39 establishes guidelines for student participation in sports organized by sex.

SB 25 authorizes an income tax deduction for certain grant money.

SB 49 establishes the “Missouri Save Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act”.

SB 13 modifies provisions relating to financial institutions.

SB 167 specifies that medical examiner’s certificates for commercial driver’s licenses or permits may be provided to the state by mail, fax or email.

SB 111 modifies provisions relating to the administration of state employees.

HB 131 allows state employees to be paid biweekly.
