Welcome to Scott Wiggins who has joined the Brass Lantern as general manager. Originally from Louisiana, Scott comes to the Brass Lantern to take on running a 'small hotel' after having spent several years at major hotels following his military service in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sharon Bygrave, whom many already know, is back for her eleventh year as our 'Jill of all trades' - she is a great yogurt and granola maker, problem solver and warm welcomer. This year, Raquel

Bygrave, Sharon's sister, has joined the Brass Lantern team. This is Raquel's first time working in the United States and we are very pleased that she is here.
Nadine and Natasha will arrive by Memorial Day and then we will be fully staffed for a busy summer!

Daffodil Festival is coming up this weekend - and warm spring weather has yet to arrive on Nantucket!
At the Brass Lantern, we are  almost sold out for the Festival weekend - and have been for some time - but give us a call if you want to come out to see what all the 'daffy' stuff is about.
Not just for oenophiles, the Nantucket Wine Festival takes place from May 14 - 18 and provides many opportunities to learn about and taste new wine varieties and enjoy great culinary delicacies. The most popular events - the Grand Tastings and the Culinary Tent - take place just steps away from the Brass Lantern at the Nantucket Yacht Club and Children's Beach.
