TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Vermont Route 9: (Night Work)
Flaggers will control alternating traffic patterns through single-lane closures on Vermont Route 9 between the Interstate 91 Exit 2 interchange and the Edmund Heights intersection in West Brattleboro. Monday night through Friday morning, work zones will be active from 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. No street-side parking will be available in these areas of VT 9 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night through Friday morning.
Pedestrians: Sidewalk work may begin on VT 9 as early as next week. Passable gravel ramps will be in place to facilitate through access. Please exercise caution when navigating the work zone.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro to Putney (Day Work)
A single-lane closure will be in place on U.S. Route 5 beginning on the northern end of the project and progressing south over the course of the week, alternating daily between north- and south-bound lanes. Flaggers will control alternating traffic patterns through the work zone. From 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, delays are anticipated in this area.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro (Night Work)
A single-lane closure will be in place on U.S. Route 5 from the intersection with Noah's Lane to south of the Exit 3 roundabout. From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night through Friday morning, flaggers will assist traffic through the work zone - directing alternating traffic patterns as needed. Motorcyclists should watch for grooved and uneven surfaces.
