Overnight work on U.S. Route 5 and Vermont Route 9 is planned for 7 p.m. tonight Friday, July 24 to 6 a.m. Saturday morning, July 25.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Interstate 91, Exit 3: Brattleboro (Night Work)
Short-duration closures of Exit 3 are planned for next week. Daily, from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. July 28-July 31, the on- and off- ramps will be closed in both directions for Interstate 91 Exit 3. Confirmation of the schedule for these closures will be distributed on Monday, July 27.
Vermont Route 9: (Night Work)
Flaggers will continue to control alternating traffic patterns through single-lane closures between the Interstate 91 Exit 2 interchange and the Edward Heights intersection in West Brattleboro. Monday night through Friday morning, work zones will be active from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. No street-side parking will be available in these areas of VT 9 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Pedestrians: Please continue to exercise caution when navigating the work zone as sidewalk work is finishing up on VT 9.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro to Putney (Day and Night Work)
No traffic impacts are planned for the work zone from Bennett Drive north to Putney for next week.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro (Night Work)
Flaggers and uniformed traffic officers will continue to assist traffic through single-lane closures on U.S. 5 from Noah's Lane through the Exit 3 roundabout to the Bennett Drive intersection. From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night through Friday morning, alternating traffic patterns will be in place as needed. Motorcyclists should watch for uneven surfaces.
