No Friday overnight work is scheduled for tonight August 7, 2026.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Interstate 91, Exit 3: Brattleboro (Night Work)
Exit 3 on- and off-ramps in both directions will be closed for paving on Tuesday morning, August 11, from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. Signed detours will be active on I-91, U.S. 5, VT 9, and Exits 2 and 4.
Vermont Route 9: (Night Work)
Single-lane closures with alternating traffic patterns controlled by flaggers will be in place between the Interstate 91 Exit 2 interchange and the Edward Heights intersection in West Brattleboro. Monday night through Friday morning, work zones will be active from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. No street-side parking will be available in these areas.
Pedestrians: Please continue to exercise caution when navigating the work zone as sidewalk work continues on VT 9.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro to Putney (Night Work)
Single-lane closures are scheduled to be in place on side roads near the intersections with U.S. 5 from Bennett Drive north to Putney for pavement marking placement. From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., motorists should be vigilant for wet paint and active work zones when approaching intersections in this area.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro (Night Work)
Flaggers and uniformed traffic officers will continue to assist traffic through single-lane closures on U.S. 5 from Noah's Lane through the Exit 3 roundabout to the Bennett Drive intersection. From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night through Friday morning, alternating traffic patterns will be in place as needed.
