Overnight work is planned for tonight Friday, September 18, 2026 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Day work on Bridge 10B on U.S. Route 5 over Interstate 91 is scheduled to begin Monday, September 21, 2026 at 6:30 a.m.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Vermont Route 9: (Night Work)
Single-lane closures with alternating traffic patterns controlled by flaggers will be in place from the Exit 2 interchange to the Edward Heights intersection from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night through Saturday morning. No street-side parking will be available through the work zone. Motorists should watch for wet paint.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro (Night Work)
From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night through Saturday morning, single-lane closures will be in place on U.S. 5 from the intersection with Eaton Avenue through the Exit 3 roundabout to the Old Ferry Road intersection with flaggers and uniformed traffic officers assisting traffic through alternating traffic patterns.
U.S. Route 5: Brattleboro-Putney (Day Work)
Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. single-lane closures will be in place on U.S. 5 on the bridge over Interstate 91 between Bennett Drive and Old Ferry Road. Flaggers will control alternating traffic patterns through daily work zones.
