What a wonderful day we had this past Sunday! It was a busy day, but it sure was a blessed day. The Mission Fair was a great success. Many of you visited with our local ministry partners and heard plans about engaging with them in the upcoming year. In addition, I am excited to announce that we received $1,236.00 in offerings to be given in honor of Mrs. Barbara Swayngham to the Georgia Baptist World Hunger Fund. Praise God for His abundant blessings!

Sunday night was an equally enjoyable time of worship and fellowship as our Kid’s Worship Arts Program led about 200 of us in a night of worship. The varying age groups sang, played instruments, and (my favorite part) presented a black-light Puppet Show. It was personally meaningful for me to see dozens of our children worshipping God through a variety of mediums. Even if you do not have kids in Worship Arts, you need to prioritize being there. It was a blessing for us all.

Speaking of kid’s programs, have you signed up to help at the Fall Festival? If not, we could use your help! We need lots of folks to help run games and provide other assistance. You can sign-up in your Sunday School class or contact Crystal Gilley in the church office. In addition, we’re still taking donations for candy and lightly-used stuffed animals for prizes. You can drop-off those donations in the clear containers located next to the Ministry Partner Donation Bin in the hallway outside the Fellowship Hall.

The Fall Festival is always an incredible time to minister to our community – it is one of many ways we embody the gospel to those around us. We’ll be talking about our evangelistic strategy as a church this Sunday as we consider our commitment to sharing. I look forward to worshipping with you.

Expecting His Best,
