Seventeeth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Greetings!

This weekend, we begin to journey with St. John’s gospel. For the next few weeks, you and I will be hearing from what biblical scholars refer to as the “Bread of Life” discourse.

One of the obvious reasons why we get a break from Mark is that his gospel is too short, perhaps not enough to suffice the whole liturgical year. Thus, John’s gospel needs to be inserted into the year of St. Mark. Read more...

YOUTH MINISTRY
Diocesan Youth Renewal Recap
This past week, middle school and high school youth from Holy Spirit participated and lead in the Diocesan Youth Renewal (DYR). This special DYR was one for the memory books as it was the first official Diocesan youth gathering since the pandemic. It was awesome to see the youth gather as a community of faith and take time to nourish and renew their faith. Youth testimony to come!

Sacrament of Confirmation
Registrations for the Sacrament of Confirmation are now up! Youth as early as 7th grade are able to register. Formation is a two-year process for middle school youth and a one-year process for high school youth. Register here.
