August Loose Change Offerings:

The Sanctuary Sober Living, Minot - The Sanctuary's mission is to provide the greatest opportunity for individuals and families suffering from alcohol and drug addiction discover a new way of life by embracing a 12 step, spiritually-based solution. This is achieved by offering a safe, supportive, highly structured and accountable, sober living environment.

The Welcome Table – Upcoming Serving opportunities:

Saturday September 12th

Saturday October 17th

A free community meal at the site of the Lord’s Cupboard Food Pantry. There are two serving shifts. A sign-up can be found at church. Every time we serve it costs $250. If you would like to contribute to this fund, just note it on your donation.

8:30-10:30am - Preparing food 

10:30am-12:30pm - Serving/Clean-up

Upcoming Fellowship:

Come and have a meal, and fellowship with your Bread of Life friends. 


  • September 5th at Perkins at 830am
  • September 19th at Applebees at 630pm
  • October 3rd at Ebeneezers at 830am
  • October 17th at Olive Garden at 630pm

 

Re-entry and Connection meal with the F5 Project Volunteers –

Monday September 14th at 6:30pm

Our next meal will take place on Monday September 14th from 6:30-8pm. A sign up can be found on the back table in the sanctuary.  


Worship Helpers

We have created a calendar for worship helpers.

Greeter/Usher- Welcome people as they enter, hand out bulletins, usher people to Communion, give guests welcome bag.

Reader- Read the readings (Pastor reads the gospel) *If you would like the readings prior to service, please contact Hiedi in the office.

Communion Server- Distribute the wine saying "The Blood of Christ shed for you."

Acolyte- turn on altar candles and Christ candle 10 minutes before worship begins and turn off following worship.

Lutheran World Relief School Kit Assembly for God’s Work our Hands - Sunday 9/20

After worship we’ll be celebrating “God’s Work, Our Hands (a week late!) by assembling the school kits.  All are invited to stay after and lend some “hands”!

Please know this about Sunday school and Wednesday Church School…

With Wednesday Church School and Sunday school starting back up, please note that kids are welcome to participate in each depending on weekly schedules.  Even if a child is registered for Wednesdays, they are welcomed on Sundays if unable to make it that Wednesday and vice versa.

Blood Drive:

Bread of Life will host a blood drive on Thursday, September 17th from 4-7 in Grace Hall. Please see Pastor Tammy to sign up for a time to donate.

Fall Healing Prayer -

Saturday September 26th at 5pm This worship service will include a time of healing prayer and anointing. In this we realize that we are all in need of healing in one way or another. We ask in prayer that God would meet us with grace in our needs.

Lutheran Campus Ministry - 9/12 & 9/13

Rev. Rachel Simonson from Lutheran Campus Ministry will be our guest preacher for the weekend services.  Come to hear from her about all the good things going on with LCM!

LCM Soup To Go

on Tuesday, September 15th Bread of Life will need at least 6 volunteers from 10-1 to prepare, serve and clean up for LCM Soup To Go. There is a sign up sheet in the narthex. Also, if you would like to contribute to the cost of LCM Soup To Go, please put a note on your donation and place it in the offering plate or drop it off to the office.

Kitchen Use/Custodial Supply


In the kitchen, you will find a list of items that is ordered by Hiedi in the office. Along with that list, is a card to fill out. If you open or use the last of an item on the list, please fill out the card and place it in the office or the offering plate to let the office know that more of the item is needed. If you have questions, please let Hiedi know.
