Break Bread and Give Thanks

November marks the beginning of the holiday season. With Thanksgiving at the end of this month, it reminds us to celebrate what we are thankful for by breaking bread with our friends and family.

  • Packing Tips
    for Holiday Travel

Travelling during the holidays should not be stressful. Often times, we put off packing to the last minute, resulting in us feeling rushed and stressed out. Here are some great tips to get your holiday trip off to a great start.

    1. Plan ahead and do your research. Looking up your destination's temperatures will help you pack appropriately.

    2. Figure out your "number". That is, if your trip is less than a week, count one shirt per day, one bottom for every two days, one jacket, a pair of shoes to wear, and a pair to pack.

    3. Visualize your packing list. Either list out everything you plan to bring or pile everything you plan to pack outside of your luggage first eliminating overpacking.

    4. Downsize. Picking up travel size versions of your toiletries not only saves you space but on extra weight of your suitcase.

    5. Don't pack your heaviest items. Instead, plan to wear your heaviest shoes and jackets the day you travel.
