Struggling with the Back Window? Try Breaking it up into 4 quadrants!

The back window is one of the hardest to do...

I won't be shy to say it.. In fact when I first started over 15 years ago, I avoided back window because I never learned this system..

On YouTube and Instagram, see videos everyday of tinters doing it flawlessly and making it look easy...

But trying that way won't work

The Rear Window Installation starts with a proper shrink... and to obtain the proper shrink, you must break down the film into 4 quadrants and focus on each quadrant at a time..

This will make it MUCH easier and get rid of your frustration with shrinking....

Not sure what I am referring to? Watch the video above or click below where we have a full tutorial on how to shrink a back window and we outline mistakes that you may be making and how to avoid them!

{Scroll down further to watch me struggle Installing GILA Window Film}

What is wrong with OTC {over the counter - Gila} Film? Let's put i to the test and compare!

I get asked all the time...

Why can't I just use window film from a Big Box Store?

Well, I put it to the test - this morning I purchased a roll of Gila film and tried to shrink and instal it!

First, with GILA film, it is over $20 per window, where as film Tinters would use, is closer to $1.80 per window

Second, performance stats on the box are misleading..

Third, I had a hard time installing it myself! It was thin, didn't shrink well, and the adhesive was terrible!

So, it may be a little more money upfront, but always go with reputable manufacturers when it comes to Window Film..

Watch the video below - I ddi struggle with the GILA :)
