Domestic Violence Awareness Month

This October, wear purple to stand in solidarity with survivors, amplify their voices, and speak out against domestic violence in our community.
My Sister’s Place will honor DVAM with a series of meaningful events.

In addition to our public events (below), we are excited to share that we are hosting our 2nd annual Purple Fun Party. Generously supported by our sponsors, this event is a reminder that kids living in our shelter rarely get to go to fairs and festivals, so we are supremely delighted to bring the fun to them with your support.

Other Ways to Meet Survivors' Needs

With weather cooling, children and adults in our program need coats! Please help us keep our clients warm all winter long by participating in our 2022 Coat Drive! We need coats for kids and adults of all ages, sizes, and genders! Please note we do not accept used coats.

Volunteer to move furniture, set up, and decorate a family's new home as they make the significant move from shelter to transitional housing.

We are running low on key personal hygiene and cleaning supplies at our shelter. Please consider purchasing these supplies through our Amazon Wishlist.

And please remember to select My Sister's Place
