A Word from Lorraine

Because this is Pride month, it seems like a good time to reflect on the past when we may have thought that we were not worthy of God's love and grace. But time and time again, God has told us that all people are worthy, that all people are God's children, and that we are called to be a light in the darkness of hate and unbelief. Yet, there are still people who believe that God can't love them for who they are. How do we show them that they are worthy?

Our next monthly Breakfast Club will take place this Thursday, June 11th at 9 am at Parkside Cafe. Everyone is welcome!

Our next meeting of the Rainbow Housing Coalition will take place this Sunday, June 14th after worship. If you are interested in tackling affordable housing and how we can help the unhoused in our community, stick around this Sunday in the Social Hall.

Pride season is gearing up! We need your help to work our booth at Gulfport Pride on Saturday, June 6th. If you are able, please sign up in the foyer or contact the church office. If you have any questions, please see Tim Uber or TC McCarthy.

Our King of Peace Got Talent night is just around the corner on Saturday, July 18th. We are looking for a variety of acts for the evening. If you'd like to be a part of the audition, email jeremiah@churchstpetersburg.org now for an audition.

The newly requested items for the month of June are as follows:

Saltine Crackers, Cereal, & Pasta

If you are able to donate, please bring them with you on Sunday or during the week when the office is open, and place them in the donation cart in the foyer.
