This Sunday we welcome The Rev. Dr. Bob Friend, who has served several churches in the Mid-Atlantic. Married to Susan, Bob resides in the West End and enjoys spending time with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren who live nearby.
Men's Ministry has many opportunities for you to connect with others
Our men’s ministry has planned a wonderful season of men’s breakfasts, outdoor excursions, and drop-in fellowship events. On May 21, all men are welcome to gather at 8:00 AM to enjoy breakfast and hear a guest speaker. Then, if you’d like, you can join a group for hiking at Powhatan State Park and an outing to Fine Creek Brewery. To get details, join the “Men’s Community Info Group” in Realm, or speak with any staff member. We will get you connected and plugged in!
Spend just a few hours gardening and help feed our neighbors
Shalom Farms provides fresh food to those who need it most. CCE volunteers say it's one of the most rewarding things they do all month. Our next service days are Tuesday, May 10 and Saturday, May 28. To volunteer, join the "Shalom Farms Interest Group" in Realm and RSVP to the event. Need help joining? Contact Laura McNally.

If you have a need, you can call our new message system at 804-223-2116. Leave a message, and a trained pastoral caregiver will call you back.
