We have some great breaking news. The positivity occurrence rate in Beaufort County has fallen below 10% today. That means, we can reopen our three communities, Bloom at Belfair, Bloom at Bluffton and Bloom at Hilton Head, for inside visitation immediately.
The process will still be orderly and visits should be scheduled through our online system. The third-party, who hosts our website, is working to restore their servers (and our websites), which have been down. Therefore, in the interim, please contact your local Executive Director (Emily at Belfair (843.815.2338), Tiffany at Hilton Head (843.342.5599) and Lauren at Bluffton (843.815.2555)) to schedule your appointment until the websites are restored.
This is a big day for Bloom South Carolina! As you know, over 95% of our residents have been vaccinated. Bloom's South Carolina communities have relaxed restrictions and already safely reopened for group activities, group programming, community dining, outside visitation from family and friends, tours, family and resident outings and so much more. We can now add inside visitation to that list! Bloom's South Carolina communities are now being added to Phase III of our three phased reopening plan. There continues to be zero cases of COVID-19 in Bloom communities.
The residents are doing great and we're excited for our residents and families. We've beat this virus and moved past it.
