Have You Hugged Our PAC FaceBook Lately?

BREAKING NEWS....Due to the volatile weather anticipated to intensify today, the entire University of Hawaii System has closed Monday out of an abundance of caution for the students, staff and faculty. This includes KCC and the PAC.

EKK Week 2, originally scheduled for tonight will be postponed until tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb 10th. If you hold tickets for the show, they will be honored at that time. If you haven't purchased tickets, you may do so at the link below, or at the door.

The KCC Ohana urges you to be safe, and if possible, stay out of the weather. We hope to see you Tuesday evening.

Elsewhere On Our Garden Isle...

An Askew Look at Kauai Happenings

An Askew Look at Kauai Happenings was inspired by the volunteer work of Kauai arts supporter Greg Askew, who, for a very long time, sent out his own What's Happenin' eblast. Greg and I (the other Greg) got together to combine his efforts into our Elsewhere on our Garden Isle. If you have a non-profit, non-political event you would like included, email me.

Did You Know...

The U.S. Coast Guard Brass Quintet will play a FREE Concert here on Friday, March 27th accompanied by the KCC Wind Symphony under the direction of Sarah Tochiki? Well, now you do and spread the word!

The United States Coast Guard Brass Quintet represents the Coast Guard throughout the nation and the world in a variety of capacities including concerts, ceremonies, and masterclasses.

As one of the busiest small ensembles in the band, the quintet travels extensively during the year and augments the scope of the full U.S. Coast Guard Band.

And Did You Further Know...

The PAC collected 726 pounds of food which we donated to the Hawaii Food Bank. That is thanks to all of you! Our goal for 2026 is 2,000 lbs. The PAC campaign will begin November 1st and run thru Jan 31st, 2027. However, as people have to eat everyday, feel free to drop donations here throughout the year and we will deliver to the Food Bank!
