Yesterday was our first day collecting school backpacks for Liberia, our hands-on mission project for Annual Conference 2019. We received 416 backpacks from 24 churches.

We will continue collecting kits today until 5:00 pm and tomorrow from 9:00 - 3:00. Pastors, church staff and mission chairs - be sure to check that your church's kits are delivered to the Three Rivers District Ministry Center!

At 3:30 pm tomorrow (Wednesday, June 5), we need volunteers to help us load the truck with the kits we have collected. With enough volunteers this should take no longer than 15 - 20 minutes. Please reply to this email if you are able to help, and let us know how many will be coming with you.
