The U.S. Department of Homeland Security,
Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)
has released an updated advisory on the identification of critical infrastructure workers during the COVID-19 crisis.
TRAA, thanks to the expertise of our federal lobbying firm Tremont Strategies Group, has ensured that both towing and recovery services and roadside services are expressly included in the federal advisory as essential workers.
This is a significant win for the towing industry and a demonstration of membership dues working on your behalf.
Note, the CISA advisory is not a federal mandate. Each state and municipality can make their own determination on the qualifications of essential workers. Check with your local authorities.
