Welcome, Morgan Loomis! Breakthrough's New Program Director
Breakthrough Manchester is proud to announce Morgan Loomis as our new Program Director. Morgan rejoined Breakthrough in January 2026 after two summers (2023 and 2024) as a Teaching Fellow. She is excited to return to the Greater Manchester area to work with our Scholars and Teaching Fellows.
Before joining Breakthrough, Morgan worked at various schools in southern New Hampshire in both teaching and staff roles. Notably, she has also served with City Year Manchester both as an AmeriCorps Member and on the staff team for marketing, communications, recruitment, and development. Morgan began her Breakthrough journey in the midst of her college career at Bennington College in Vermont, where she earned a B.A. in Education Policy and Music Education.
“Educational equity is a big deal to me, and since joining Breakthrough in 2023, I’ve been thinking about the impact this program has had on our students. It’s so magical to see them thrive, seeing the ‘Aha!’ moments, and knowing that the work we do is shaping young, capable, motivated leaders. Watching the incoming 7th graders moving on to high school, taking their driver’s tests, going to college, achieving their goals -- that’s what it’s all about here. I love being part of that process.”
Morgan is thrilled to be stepping into this position with fresh ideas of how to support our Breakthrough Scholars and Teaching Fellows while fostering an environment full of joy, motivation, fun, and lifelong learning. More than anything, she’s excited to see our Scholars (and Teaching Fellows) BREAKTHROUGH!
