Tunch Ilkin
Ilkin is a former American football player and he was the first Turk to play in the National Football League (NFL). Ilkin’s currently serves as a television and radio analyst for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ilkin was born in Turkey and immigrated to the United States when he was two years old. Ilkin was chosen by the Steelers in the 6th round in the 1980 NFL draft. In 2007, Ilkin became the spokesperson for Lifexpo - a health, sports, and fitness expo that started in Pittsburgh. In 2008, Ilkin began to work with Riverset Credit Union of Pittsburgh which is a not-for-profit financial cooperative. In 2013, Ilkin took part in the activities of the Istanbul Cavaliers, one of the strongest American football team in Turkey, and told that he would like to coach an American Football team in Turkey. After Ilkin retired from football, he started his career at the Steelers Radio Network and Steelers TV.
